Harsgeir View Cottage is a traditionally built two-bedroom crofter's cottage,
which has been recently renovated and upgraded to a high standard.
The cottage is on a 10 acre croft situated in the village of Hacklete in Great Bernera.
Great Bernera is an island off the west coast of Lewis situated between East and West Loch Roag and is about 27 miles or a 45 minute drive from Stornoway.
The cottage is ideally situated and is a great base for anyone wishing to get away from it all,
relax and take in the stunning scenery.
It is also an ideal base for anyone wishing to explore the island of Lewis.
ACCOMMODATION
The cottage offers accommodation for 4 people, consisting of 1 double bedroom and 2 single beds.
It is fully double glazed, has oil (Combi boiler) central heating,
electric shower over bath and a fully fitted kitchen which includes dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer,
combined washer dryer, iron, toaster, kettle and hoover. All crockery and cooking utensils are supplied.
SAFETY
The house is fitted with a fire alarm - both mains and battey, 2 fire extinguishers,
1 fire blanket and 1 carbon monoxide detector.
STORAGE
There is limited storage space but cases etc can be placed in the loft via an extending loft ladder
which can be found in the hall.
THINGS TO SEE AND DO
The cottage is a 5 minute drive from the beaches of Croir and Bosta and the local shop in the village of Breaclete
offers a mini market (Licensed) post office service and petrol and diesel sales.
COST
The rates are from £280 -£320 per week. Bookings are on a Saturday to Saturday basis but the owners are very flexible.
Off season weekend and daily rates are also on offer.
